Vodka is the most used spirit for cocktails, largely due to its neutral flavor. Vodka is made from several resources, most commonly grains, such as rye, rice, wheat and vegetables, like corn and potatoes.
cosmopolitan (cosmo)
A very bright pink and tangy cocktail is ready to get any party going!
Ingredients
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz 100% cranberry juice
- ½ oz cointreau
- ½ oz lemon juice
- 1 lime wedge
- 1 teaspoon simple syrup
Preparation
In a cocktail shaker with ice combine vodka, cranberry juice, cointreau, lemon juice, and shake well. Strain liquid into martini glass, garnish with lime wedge and enjoy.
Classic Bloody Mary
This everything but the kitchen sink cocktail is a fan favorite! Probably because it is totally acceptable to enjoy the first thing in the morning with breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 oz vodka per glass
- 2 cups chilled tomato juice
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons horseradish sauce
- ¼ teaspoon hot sauce
- Salt and back pepper to taste.
- Old bay for glass rim
- Celery stalk, lemon wedge, olive, and cocktail onion for garnish.
Preparation
Note: this recipe serves 4.
Bloody mary mixture: combine tomato juice, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, horseradish sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper to a large shaker. No ice! Shake well. If time allows, let chill in the fridge overnight.
Rim glass with a lemon wedge then rim in ole bay for a rimmed glass. Add ice and pour vodka over top. Then add ½ cup of bloody mary mix to every glass. Gently stir, garnish, and enjoy!
espresso martini
Coffee with booze, 10/10 sounds amazing, what more could you want!
Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- ½ oz coffee liqueur
- 1 oz espresso or cold brew.
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Coffee beans
Preparation
Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, and simple syrup to the cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish with 3 coffee beans. Enjoy!

A classic vodka cocktail. Ole favorite.

- 1 ¾ oz vodka
- 3 ½ oz orange juice
Preparation
Pour vodka and orange juice over ice in a highball glass. Stir and enjoy.
